This Alupanel composite panel is 3 mm thick and white (RAL 9003) in colour. The RAL colour code is indicative, the plate colour is an approximation of this. We call this type of panel a sandwich plate because it is made up of three layers. The top layers are made of 0.2 millimetre thick aluminium and the core consists of polyethylene, a material that is resistant to UV radiation, moisture and ambient temperatures. This material is easy to print, which is why white Alupanel panels are widely used in the advertising and signing industry. On delivery, they are provided with protective film on both sides. You can buy a whole panel or have it cut to size by us for free.
Specifications
This white Alupanel sandwich panel consists of a polyethylene core and two top layers of 0.2 millimetre thick aluminium. These top layers are very durable and tolerate various chemicals such as acids, bases, oils and strong solvents. You can use it in temperatures from -50 ° C to + 80 ° C. The panel will expand 0.24 millimetres per linear metre when the panel heats up 10 ° C.
Processing options
Alupanel panels are easy to process, from the aluminium top layers to the polyethylene core. Sawing, milling, painting, glueing, drilling are not a problem if you use the right tools. We recommend the products of the quality brand Bostik for glueing Alupanel sheets. Do you want to clean the panels? It’s easy using a mild detergent and a soft cloth.
