Hard PVC is a popular material for interior applications. These panels are relatively heavy, especially if you compare them with foamed PVC sheets, which are twice as light. Solid PVC sheet is resistant to chemical substances. This type of sheet is therefore ideal for making drip trays or sinks for chemical substances. In addition, hard PVC sheets will not crack and are therefore vandal proof.
Hard PVC is widely used in the advertising industry. For example, the sheets are used for displays, billboards and stand material. Hard PVC sheets are also popular in the chemical industry, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. Also consider applications such as insulation, filling strips and electrical boxes.

Rigid PVC sheets are available in the colours white, dark grey and transparent. We offer the sheets in a range of thicknesses from 2 mm to 20 mm.
Hard PVC is solid and easy to work with. You can drill, cut, laser, paint, letter, mill, weld, turn and glue with a special PVC glue. You can also deform this type of sheet with heat and saw with a circular or jigsaw.
Solid PVC requires little maintenance. With normal use of the sheet material, in a relatively clean environment, you only need to clean the panels once or twice a year. Check our tips for cleaning PVC.
Useful to know:
PVC is a static plastic that attracts dust quickly. Treat the panel with a special antistatic cleaner for plastic sheets.
Solid PVC sheets are relatively heavy, especially compared to their foamed PVC counterpart. PVC foam sheets weigh half as much, but they lack the same chemical resistance. Solid PVC is a firm material that is easy to work with. Even without any experience drilling, sawing and milling are easy tasks to accomplish. In our range we offer solid PVC sheets in the colours white, dark grey and transparent. The sheet thicknesses vary from 0.5 mm to 20 mm.
The solid PVC sheets have a smooth surface with a silk gloss finish. The engineering plastic has chemical resistant qualities which makes it the ideal choice for applications in the chemical industry. Additionally, solid PVC is electrically insulating, self-extinguishing and is evenly coloured down to the core of the sheet. When heated, the sheets are pliable and easy to shape into complex forms. Solid PVC can endure temperatures up to a maximum of 60°C, but only for a short period of time. Low temperatures, on the other hand, are no problem. Painting and gluing the material is possible, but only with the proper preparations and products. An adhesive bond can only be achieved by using special PVC glue. Solid PVC are well suited for the following applications: aquariums, electricity closets and boxes, drip trays and sinks that come in contact with chemicals.
