Alupanel sheets

Alupanel was specially developed for the advertising and signing industry. This is reflected in the top layers, which print very well with various printing techniques and inks. The sheets are available in a wide range of colours and in brushed aluminium.

Alupanel is a brand of aluminium composite panel, a material also commonly referred to as ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) or ACM (Aluminium Composite Material). You may also see similar aluminium composite sheets sold under other brand names, including Dibond®, Alucobond®, Alubond, Dilite® and Alucosun.

This panel is UV-resistant, lightweight, easy to print on and process. This combined with the great appearance of the panel, opens up a world of possibilities. That is why you can find these panels used for both indoor and outdoor advertising applications. You will see them used for facade cladding, displays and billboards. This panel is also suitable as a kitchen splashback. ACP/Dibond® will immediately add a stylish look to any room, and it is so easy to apply. Alupanel sheets are highly machinable, from the aluminium top layers to the polyethylene core. Sawing, milling, painting, gluing, drilling are all no problem. The average do-it-yourselfer can do this just fine too, provided you use the right tools. For bonding Alupanel panels, we recommend the products of quality brand Bostik.

We call this type of sheet a sandwich sheet, because it is composed of three layers. The top layers are made of 0.3-millimetre-thick aluminium and the core consists of polyethylene. Aluminium composite boards can expand or contract at varying temperatures. You can use the board in temperatures from -50°C to +80°C. The board expands 0.24 mm per running metre when the board warms up by 10 degrees.
