With a 3 mm acrylic sheet, you can go in any direction. We offer this sheet in many different colours and finishes, so there is the right match for every job.
At Plasticsheetsshop, you can find the right acrylic sheet for every job. For example, use this 3 mm acrylic sheet as the splashback in your kitchen, or pimp up your suspended ceiling with it!
In our wide range, you can choose from many colours and finishes; mirror, fluorescent, tinted, opal white, frost and (budget) clear. Our budget acrylic is extruded acrylic. This is less easy to process, because it is rolled after casting. There is therefore more stress on this material.
Do you want to process your 3 mm acrylic sheet, for example, by drilling, sawing, milling or engraving? Then choose a cast acrylic sheet. Our budget sheets are extruded. This means that it is rolled after casting, and is therefore not good for machining, because it quickly cracks or breaks.
The most important property of acrylic is that it is as much as 30 times stronger than glass, and twice as light! Acrylic has a class B1 fire rating. This means that it is not suitable as fire-resistant glass. This is because acrylic melts at a temperature of 160° Celsius.
Maintain your acrylic sheets easily with a mild household cleaner in combination with a soft microfibre cloth. Acrylic is more scratch-sensitive than glass, so be careful with abrasive cleaning agents such as Cif, sponges and brushes.
Order your acrylic sheets and you will receive them as soon as possible!
