With this window seal for a portable air conditioner, you can direct warm air outside through the exhaust hose while keeping new warm air from entering. The panel is made from 4 mm thick white acrylic (4% light transmission), which blocks both visibility and light. Ideal if you want to keep your window open at night without light shining outside or people being able to see in.
You can order the window seal fully customised to fit your window in any size you need. The standard exhaust hose opening is 15.5 cm in diameter. Measure the outside diameter of your exhaust hose and add 0.5 cm to determine the correct opening size. The opening is positioned 20 cm from the bottom edge as standard (Y position).
For installation, you can choose between two fixing methods: glazing clips or hook-and-loop tape.

When you order the Velcro tape set, you will receive two different tapes, the rough ‘hook’ side of the tape and a soft ‘loop’ side of the tape’. To mount the window seal, stick the soft tape side on or in the frame. Then place the rough ‘hook’ side on the edges of the plexiglass. First cut the tape to size and then stick them on the frame and plexiglass. The ‘hook’ tape side provides a lot of holding power, so we recommend gluing a handle on the plexiglass, so that you can easily remove the window seal later. It is important to note that the adhesive layer may be difficult to remove from the window frame later.
Take care when cleaning acrylic. Do not use glass cleaner or similar products to clean the window seal of your air conditioner.
