How to Use Fixxerss Super Glue
For the best results with Fixxerss Super Glue, prepare your surfaces well for a quick and strong bond.
- Make sure both surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease. Clean them beforehand with our Fixxerss IPA Bonding Cleaner or Fixxerss IPA Pads.
- Apply the glue thinly to one of the surfaces. With instant adhesive, less is definitely more.
- Press the parts firmly together immediately after application and hold them in place for 3 to 40 seconds.
- Let the bond fully cure afterwards. For maximum strength, wait preferably 24 hours before putting the joint under heavy load.
- Always work in a well-ventilated area and wear nitrile gloves when gluing.
- It’s best to use the adhesive at a temperature of 18 to 25°C.
- Seal the bottle immediately after use and store it in a cool, dry place.
- Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first when trying a new material combination.
- Remove any excess glue immediately before it cures, for example, with acetone.
What Fixxerss Super Glue is Great For
Fixxerss Super Glue is ideal for assembly work, model making, automotive projects, and maintenance jobs. You can use it for things like plastic parts, metal components, rubber seals, or small fixings that need to be really secure. Fixxerss Super Glue is also a practical choice for detailed work because you can work cleanly and with good control.
The adhesive performs well on many smooth materials, including various plastics, metals, and elastomers. However, it’s not the best choice for porous surfaces, large gaps, applications that are constantly wet, or joints that move all the time.
