This attractive aluminium composite panels (ACP) kitchen splashback is 3 mm thick and has a brushed black colour appearance. The panel has two matt sides, and comes with a protective film on both sides. The material has a thickness of 3 mm and is composed of two aluminium sheets with a plastic core in the middle. These black coloured brushed ACP sandwich panels consist of a polyethylene core and two outer layers of 0.3 mm thick aluminium. These outer layers are very durable and can tolerate chemicals such as acids, bases, oils and strong solvents. You can use this kitchen splashback in temperatures ranging from -50°C up to +80°C. Please note: do not place a water kettle or hot pan next to or against the ACP. The hot steam or pan can deform the plastic. Also, never place the plastic kitchen splashback behind a gas cooker.

ACP is easy to work with, from the aluminium top layers to the polyethylene core. You can paint, drill, saw, mill and glue these boards, provided you use good tools. For bonding ACP panels, we recommend using the quality products from the brand; Bostik. When you want to clean the panels, use a mild cleaning agent such as Burnus anti-static cleaner, together with a soft cloth.
