When you order the Velcro tape set, you will receive two different tapes, the rough ‘hook’ side of the tape and a soft ‘loop’ side of the tape’. To mount the window seal, stick the soft tape side on or in the frame. Then place the rough ‘hook’ side on the edges of the acrylic. First cut the tape to size and then stick them on the frame and acrylic. The ‘hook’ tape side provides a lot of holding power, so we recommend gluing a handle on the acrylic, so that you can easily remove the window seal later. It is important to note that the adhesive layer may be difficult to remove from the window frame later.
Take care when cleaning acrylic. Do not use glass cleaner or similar products to clean the window seal of your air conditioner. This is because using aggressive cleaning agents can dull the acrylic.
