Maikel has crafted a unique lamp for his employer, Wierts Ltd, using acrylic and wood. This distinctive lamp adds an immediate touch of warmth to the workspace and is now showcased in his executive residence. It features illuminated letters thanks to LED strips, LED spotlights underneath, and even an integrated Bluetooth speaker at the top. A self-made backdrop added extra flair to the project. For Maikel, who loves DIY and passes his passion for carpentry on to his 14-year-old son, this was a fantastic project to dive into.
The project
Maikel: “I really enjoy making or recreating things, so I found this an exciting project to get involved with. In the meantime, I have also influenced my eldest son, who is now 14 years old. He now also wants to become a carpenter.”
