Budget air conditioner window seal - White PVC foam 4 mm
Description White PVC foam sheet 4 mm RAL 9003
With this budget window seal for your portable air conditioner, you make sure warm air is pushed outside through the exhaust hose. At the same time, you keep new warm air out. The sheet is 4 mm thick and made from white PVC foam. This blocks both the view in and the light. Handy if you want to keep your window open at night without light shining out or anyone looking in.
You order the window seal made to measure for your window in any size you like. The hole for the exhaust hose is 15.5 cm as standard. Measure the outside of your exhaust hose and add 0.5 cm for the correct diameter. The hole sits 20 cm from the bottom as standard (position Y).
This budget version is the ideal choice for a temporary solution. The material is sturdy, but it can’t handle knocks and extreme weather. Looking for a transparent or more durable solution? Then go for our acrylic window seal for air conditioners.

Fitting requirements
Measure the window
Start by carefully measuring the width and height of your window frame. This is important for a perfect fit. Write down the measurements and share them with us when you order.
Prepare the window frame
Use a non-abrasive cleaner to make the frame free of grease and dirt. A clean surface makes sure the seal stays put.
Fit the glazing clips
Use the glazing clips for a firm hold. Attach them to the frame.
Attach the window seal
Place the sheet on the frame and make sure it fits snugly. Check that warm air can’t get in anywhere.
Connect the air conditioner
Push the air hose of your air conditioner through the opening in the acrylic. Make sure it sits airtight. This keeps the cold air in and the warm air out.
