• How can I order a shape?

  You will find a wide range of shapes, numbers, and letters that you can custom order in our webshop. Select your shape of choice on the product page and enter the correct dimensions. Prefer your own design? You can upload your design to our webshop via a DXF file. Check here for the drawing rules and an explanation about making a DXF file.

• Is acrylic easy to clean?

  Yes, preferably with Vuplex cleaning products.

• How strong is acrylic?

  Acrylic is thirty times stronger than regular glass. It has a tensile strength of 83 MPa and flexural strength of 120 MPa.

• Is acrylic UV-resistant?

  Yes, acrylic is UV-resistant.

• Is acrylic sheet heat-resistant?

  Acrylic can withstand temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius.

• Is acrylic weather-resistant?

  Yes, of course. Acrylic is UV-, moisture and frostresistant, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

• Are acrylic sheets easy to process?

  The budget acrylic (XT) sheet is more difficult to machine than cast acrylic (GS) sheet. This is because the budget acrylic is more under tension, which can cause the sheet to crack during operations. Do you want to be able to edit the sheet without any worries? Then we recommend that you view our cast acrylic sheets. Check out our editing tips for more information.

• What is the difference between glass and acrylic sheet?

  Acrylic sheet is not actual glass but plastic. This makes it cheaper, twice as light and thirty times as strong as regular glass. The difference with real glass is almost invisible, thanks to the acrylic’s clarity and high light transmission. In addition, unlike ordinary glass, acrylic is easy to work with. It does not shatter, so the editing possibilities are endless, just like the different colours, thicknesses and dimensions in which you can buy acrylic sheets.

• Is recycled acrylic more expensive than regular acrylic?

  Yes, but not much more expensive. We supply competitively priced recycled acrylic because we want to encourage you to choose this sustainable alternative.

• Is there a difference between recycled and non-recycled acrylic?

  Greencast® acrylic is made from 100% recycled acrylic and is the green alternative to cast acrylic. This material is just as robust, transparent and UV-resistant as non-recycled acrylic. In short: Greencast® is the same high-quality acrylic that you are accustomed to from us but is sustainable.

• How do I mount the letters or numbers on my wall or facade?

  We sell special spacers for mounting letters or numbers on your wall or facade. Order them directly from our webshop.

• What is the difference between an ordinary acrylic sheet and a letter sheet?

  Both sheets are easy to process, and you can laser cut or mill them. However, thanks to it’s thickness and extensive choice of colours, the range of letter sheets lends itself particularly well to laser-cutting facade letters and numbers.
