PVC foam ECO is an environmentally friendly alternative to standard foam sheets. This sheet is made of recycled black PVC that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Foamed PVC ECO has a white “virgin” top and bottom, which means this layer is not recycled. This white layer makes recycled PVC foam sheets ideal for printing or painting. The black recyclate comes from (post) production waste.
PVC foam ECO has the same characteristic properties as a “new” sheet. This material is naturally lightweight, robust and easy to maintain. Here is a list of the properties of recycled PVC:
PVC foam ECO is easy to work with, for example, by milling, sawing, drilling and engraving. With the latter technique, you partially remove the white “virgin” layer, and the black becomes visible.
