Bostik High Tack Premium H980 adhesive (Formerly Bostik Hightack) is a strong, white adhesive based on SMP (Silyl Modified Polymer). This adhesive is extremely suited for fastening solid PVC, foamed PVC, acrylic sheet and ACP to almost all construction surfaces. Due to the high initial adhesive bond, it is often unnecessary to use clamps or supports while the adhesive dries.
Bostik High Tack adhesive comes in a standard 290 ml tube and requires a caulking gun for application. The bonding materials will have to be fastened within 15 minutes after applying the adhesive. This white adhesive is easy to work with and dries evenly. After application; the adhesive remains flexible, so it can cope with the possible expansion of the bonded materials. Some materials can expand due to temperature differences. High Tack creates a strong bond, even on moist surfaces and it is UV- and weather resistant. One tube allows you to cover 9 metres with the adhesive. After opening the adhesive has a shelf life of 12 months. For the optimal bonding of aluminium composite panels and solid PVC sheets, it is necessary to use a primer. Make sure to check if this is required for your project.
