Bostik Easy Clean Wipes are primer wipes to pre-treat HPL and Trespa® sheets before making an adhesive bond. Easy Clean Wipes are suitable for preparing smaller areas before bonding. For larger surfaces we recommend using Bostik primer Paneltack. The box contains 10 wipes that each come in a separate sachet. Pre-treating the HPL or Trespa® surface is crucial for a strong adhesive bond.
It is recommended to always wear rubber gloves and work in a well-ventilated room when working with Bostik Easy Clean Wipes. First, clean the HPL sheet to remove any dust and excessive grease. Remove the Easy Clean Wipe from the sachet and make circular movements of about 15 centimetres in diameter on the material. One wipe is suitable to pre-treat an area of 2 to 4 square metres. Make sure to replace the wipe once it starts getting dirty. The surface will have to dry for at least 10 minutes before making an adhesive bond. The ideal ambient temperature is between 5 and 30 degrees. Never wait longer than 6 hours before making the adhesive bond, after this time it is wise to pre-treat the surface again.
