Uni 100 is a universal glue for Polyvinylchloride (PVC). It results in a strong glue joint and it is also a gap filling glue, meaning you can use it to fill up cracks and gaps in the surface of the sheet. Uni 100 comes in a 250-millilitre bottle with a glue brush attached to the inside of the cap.
It is recommended to wear protective rubber gloves and work in a well-ventilated area when applying PVC glue. Before starting the glue process, clean the PVC surfaces with a degreaser and a lint-free cloth to make them dust- and grease free. Next, you slightly roughen the glue surfaces by sanding them down with sanding paper (grain 150). Now you can apply the glue using the brush that is attached to the cap. After applying the glue, immediately put the cap back on the bottle. Push the glue surfaces together and fixate them with tape or clamps. Remove excessive glue with a paper towel and leave the glue joint to dry for 10 minutes. During this time, the glue joint must not be subjected to mechanical stress. The glue will be fully cured after two hours. Unopened, Uni 100 has a shelf-life of 24 months. After opening, store the bottle in a dry place with a temperature between 5 and 35 degrees Celsius.
