Bostik Paneltack primer is a wash primer. The primer cleans and pre-treats the HPL and Trespa® surfaces before creating an adhesive bond using Bostik Paneltack adhesive. The primer is applied with a lint-free cloth. Applying Paneltack primer is crucial for ensuring a strong adhesive bond. Besides pre-treating HPL sheets, this primer is also suitable for preparing metal frameworks for a Paneltack adhesive bond.
Bostik primer Paneltack comes in a 500-millilitre container that can be re-sealed. Always work in a well-ventilated area and wear protective gloves when working with this primer. Apply the primer to the back of the HPL sheet using a lint-free cloth, make circular motions of ca. 15 cm in diameter. The minimal drying time is 10 minutes and the ideal ambient temperature lies between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius. After opening the can, Paneltack primer has a limited shelf life.
