How to choose the right coloured acrylic sheet
Our coloured acrylic sheets are twice as light and 30 times as strong as ordinary glass. All our coloured acrylic sheets are cast. Our range of bright acrylic colours is available in 3 mm thickness and the brown and grey tones are also available in 5 mm and 8 mm.
Choosing the right acrylic sheet depends on colour, finish and thickness. Once you’ve selected your colour, choose from a range of finish options:
- Transparent (tinted): coloured transparent plastic sheets to allow light through with added colour
- Opal: diffuses light for a softer effect
- Frosted: semi-transparent with a matte finish
Then pick the thickness that matches your project:
- 3mm: suitable for decorative use and lightweight applications
- 5mm+: better for more structural or heavy-duty applications.
