Ufuk chose a transparent acrylic sheet with a curved top as the base for this unique wedding present. By applying plotted vinyl stickers, he turned a simple sheet into a meaningful and bespoke gift.

Step-by-step guide

Choose

Pick a clear acrylic sheet in a shape that suits your design. Ufuk selected one with a rounded arch at the top, but you might prefer a straight edged sheet.

Plot

Decide on the text for your design and use a plotter to cut the letters out of vinyl. Ensure the text size is large enough to be easily read on the sheet.

Apply

To align the letters perfectly, place the acrylic sheet on a mat with grid lines. Carefully stick the plotted letters onto the sheet to achieve a clean and straight finish.
