Ronald has crafted a stunning new loo with a ceiling made from copper brushed ACP (aluminium composite panels). This material lends a warm feel and perfectly complements the rest of the copper tones in the toilet space.
The project
Ronald has revamped his toilet space by creating a new ceiling. He used copper brushed ACP to cover the ceiling and installed matte black spotlights. Ronald said, “It was important to me that the ceiling matched the rest, and it definitely does!”
Step-by-step guide
steps
-
Order
Order your copper brushed ACP to fit. Ensure you measure the exact dimensions for your ceiling.
-
Attach
Attach the ACP to a 15 mm thick plywood sheet. Use Bison Polymax high tack to secure it firmly.
-
Cut
Cut holes for the spotlights. Make sure you know precisely where the spots need to be placed.
-
Install
Install the matte black spotlights. Ensure everything is connected safely.
-
Add
Add a black, flat decorative moulding along the edges of the ceiling. This completes the look.

Tip from Ronald
“It’s wise to measure everything beforehand. That way, you ensure everything fits nicely, preventing your project from failing. That would be a pity.”
