Build
Build a solid frame from scaffolding wood that attaches all the planks to the structure from the inside.

Measure
Measure very accurately where the acrylic will go, so it sits flush with the edge of the wooden frame.

Attach
Attach corner brackets for extra stability and fit plastic feet to keep the lounge set off the ground.

Pretreat
Pre-treat all the wood with stain and varnish for a durable and weather-resistant finish.

Pascal's tips
Since not all scaffolding planks are perfectly shaped, it’s best to order more planks than needed. Stain all the planks in your chosen colour beforehand. Always pre-drill for each screw to prevent the wood from splitting. Varnish your lounge twice for the best result.
