This sheet of hard polyethylene is 8 mm thick and black coloured, down to the core. This material is very suitable for applications with large surfaces, such as covers and tanks. The maximum area that you can order in our webshop is 200 x 100 cm. Do you need a special sized panel? Let us cut the polyethylene PE sheet to your size for free.
This panel is lightweight and extremely strong. These properties are what makes this type of sheet so popular for mechanical engineering. It is easy to process, resistant to point loads and does not tear. Keep in mind that the panel can be scratched and the thickness can deviate by 10% on average. If you have any questions about this, please contact us.

Polyethylene has high tensile strength and is resistant to elongation. The low melting point makes it good to mould, pour and recycle. Polyethylene can also easily be cut, bent, drilled and welded. However, we do not recommend glueing unless you specialise in this.
Polyethylene is the most widely used plastic in the world. 80 million tons of this material is produced worldwide every year. You mainly find it in packaging materials, such as plastic bags, bottles and foil. In addition, you will often find these panels in equipment and machine construction and is used as a set material.
We ensure that your order is ready for dispatch as soon as possible. You can track your order from door to door via the Track & Trace code.
