The foam tape is used to ensure a high initial adherence when gluing large plastic sheets. It also creates space between the sheet and the underlying surface. Additionally, the foam tape protects the plastic sheet against vibrations, damage, dust, moisture and dirt. And it has heat- and sound insulating qualities. Foam tape is a necessity when mounting plastic sheets in metal profiles and it is easy to work with.
This double sided, black foam tape, also known as Trespa tape®, is 3 millimetres thick and 12 millimetres wide. The tape is easy to cut using scissors or a knife. One role of tape covers 25 metres and is best applied at temperatures between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius.
